We had created a model for Smart Content for other retailers like Walmart and Tractor Supply Co, but how would that work for Sally Beauty? After all, Sallys was such a different kind of retail operation than the others. Would our template fit?
Turns out, it fit just just fine. We were able to use the bones of the Tractor Supply framework and build out a version for Sally that was a in-brand and a comfortable fit with the clientele. It was the first time we had done this, but certainly not the last. Many other clients ended up leveraging the Smart Content template as a starting point.
Every website or landing page I build is responsive. But on this one, I spent a little extra time crafting the different experiences. I wanted to make sure each device that the site was viewed on was optimized. Particular attention was spent on the hero area at the top of the page. The distribution and size of elements was critical to ensuring the experience fit the screen.
